Caregiver (AM Shift) - Prior Lake
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring a Caregiver for its Prior Lake assisted living and memory care community. Caregivers work directly with residents to provide personalized, person-centered care and support. Applicants may be experienced or newly certified; the role is open to caregivers with CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR backgrounds. Paid onboarding training is provided, along with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. The position is for the AM shift, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Part-time and full-time schedules are available, and all shifts require availability to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
- Excellent communication, empathy, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Availability for the AM shift, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- Assisted living or memory care experience.
- CNA certification.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
