About The Position

Suite Living Senior Care is hiring caregivers for its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Eden Prairie. Caregivers provide personalized, person-centered care and support to residents. Candidates may be experienced or newly certified; paid onboarding training and ongoing support and development are provided. New team members complete a four-day onboarding program, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the company’s Arden Hills, Minnesota training center. The role is for the AM shift, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, and all shifts must be available to work every other weekend.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience; Assisted Living or Memory Care experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years old.
• Availability for the AM shift, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Availability to work every other weekend.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and reliability, and ability to work as a team player.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification is preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid knowledge is preferred.
• Assisted Living or Memory Care caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers within the facility.
• Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
