Fair Oaks Estates•Carmichael, CA
•$17 - $18•Onsite

About The Position

Fair Oaks Estates is hiring a full-time morning Caregiver at its locally owned assisted living and memory care community in Carmichael, California. Caregivers provide direct resident care and help residents begin the day clean, fed, comfortable, and treated with dignity. The role serves the same residents over time and includes supporting residents with dementia. Medication tasks are handled by Med Techs, not caregivers. The shift is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM on a continuously rotating four-days-on, two-days-off schedule. The cycle provides two consecutive days off every six days; days off rotate through the week, and employees work some weekends and holidays. Schedules are managed through an app that allows employees to view upcoming rotations, pick up open shifts, swap with coworkers, and submit time-off requests. The position starts at $16.90 per hour, with a stated top of range of $17.90 per hour; the compensation line also lists $18.00 hourly. Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half under California law. Raises are based on performance, experience, and attendance. Fair Oaks Estates provides paid initial training and annual paid continuing education. Regular full-time employees are eligible for health coverage beginning the first of the month after their 90-day anniversary and paid vacation after one year of continuous employment. All employees accrue paid sick leave at one hour per 30 hours worked, usable after 90 days.
