About The Position

Under the general direction of management personnel, the Culinary Arts Assistant assists and supports the San Joaquin County Office of Education’s Culinary Arts Program in preparing catering services. This is a temporary position open only to current employees of the school district. Applicants must be high school juniors, seniors, or recent graduates in good standing with a San Joaquin County Office of Education school or another school in San Joaquin County. They must be eligible to enroll in the San Joaquin County High School Apprentice Program and have work permit eligibility, if necessary. They must also agree to dual enrollment in high school and a community college while working toward completion of culinary and/or business courses. Requirements
