About The Position

The Culinary Aide at Stonebrooke Rehab supports the culinary team in providing residents with safe, nutritious, and delicious meals. The role assists with meal preparation and service and helps maintain a clean, sanitary work environment. Culinary Aides partner with culinary leaders and service staff to support residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.

The position is full-time and scheduled for days. Certification in sanitation or safe food handling and prior restaurant server experience are preferred; certifications can be earned while employed with American Senior Communities. The role requires a commitment to customer service and willingness to perform routine tasks alongside the culinary team and its leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and residents’ diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
