About The Position

As a Culinary Aide with the ASC Team at Washington Healthcare, you help ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals. The role assists with meal preparation and service and helps maintain a clean work environment. Part-time hours are available.

Requirements

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work effectively alongside the culinary team and leaders.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in sanitation or safe food handling, unless required by state and federal agencies; certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.
• Prior restaurant server experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparing and portioning meal items according to the menu and residents’ diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
