About The Position
American Senior Communities is seeking a part-time evening Culinary Aide (also referred to in the posting as a Dietary Aide) to support resident dining and care. The role contributes to patient-centered care by providing compassion and helping meet residents’ meal needs. The aide assists with preparing and portioning menu items according to residents’ diets, communicates with the Certified Dietary Manager during the shift, and supports fellow employees, including helping onboard new teammates.
Requirements
- A customer-service focus and the ability to demonstrate American Senior Communities’ core values are required.

- Prior food services experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and compassion to the patients served.
- Act as a positive teammate and help onboard new teammates.
- Assist with preparing and portioning meal items according to menus and diet requirements to accommodate resident needs.
- Communicate effectively with the Certified Dietary Manager throughout the shift as needed to meet residents’ needs.
