About The Position

This is an extra duty position for Cub Wrestling at Central High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The primary function is to develop and implement an exemplary athletic program that provides the highest quality education and growth opportunities for every student athlete. Requirements

Prior coaching experience preferred.

Create clearly defined standards of behavior and academic performance.
Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the sport or area being coached, ensuring effective instruction and guidance for student athletes.
Effectively adapt instruction of strategy and fundamentals to align with the individual needs, abilities, and interests of student-athletes.
Develop and sustain an organized athletic program guided by well structured, long term planning.
Demonstrate effective planning and organization while employing a diverse range of appropriate strategies and resources to enhance student athlete development.
Clearly convey fundamental coaching expectations to student athletes and explain their significance for personal, athletic, and academic growth.
Utilize appropriate and varied coaching techniques and learning activities.
Maintain an effective system of monitoring student progress and to inform appropriate persons.
