About The Position

The University of Arkansas Rich Mountain is looking for a Head Men’s & Women’s Wrestling Coach to begin a new program. The Men’s Program will start in 2027-2028, and the Women’s Program will follow in 2028-2029. This is an opportunity to join a successful, but new athletic department that began in Fall 2018. Bucks Athletics competes in NJCAA Region 2 and has a strong history of success, including multiple championships and academic achievements. The position offers a great opportunity for student-athletes to continue their athletic careers with growing campus housing, a brand-new weight room/Allied Health facility, development of a current space into a Wrestling facility, and a growing Mena community. UARM partners with Mena Regional Health System for medical services and offers academic support for student-athletes, including professional tutoring. The program will include 2 Assistant Coaches whose compensation includes housing and food service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• Master’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage program within NJCAA By-Laws and UA Rich Mountain Policies
• Recruit for both men’s and women’s programs
• Manage program budgets: scholarships and operational
• Maintain wrestling facility organization and cleanliness
• Coordinate program scheduling and travel
• Oversee student-athlete academics
