About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity. Requirements

1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience
Customer Service Experience
Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
Must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
Must pass a level II Background check.

Responsibilities

Performing high-quality (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
Operating and calibrating GE equipment.
Preparing patients for their procedures, which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning.
Providing clear explanations & education about the process.
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
