CT Technologist (Evenings) - 4 Days per Week
About The Position
BJC HealthCare is seeking a full-time CT Radiology Technologist for evening shifts at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. The schedule is four days per week, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with no call. The position performs diagnostic imaging procedures in computed tomography or another advanced imaging modality on adult and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis, treatment, and quality control. The technologist prepares patients and equipment and performs studies independently, in on-call situations, for portable exams, and at other sites as required by the work area. Barnes-Jewish Hospital is part of Washington University Medical Center and is described as a leading hospital and diagnostic radiology organization, with advanced imaging equipment and techniques. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates, and relocation bonus eligibility is noted.
Requirements
- Associate degree or trade school equivalency, or higher education.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Required license/certification listing: RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES.
- No experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Less than two years of experience is listed under preferred requirements.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
- Intravenous Therapy certification.
- Experience in CT, radiography, X-ray, radiology, medical imaging, or related imaging-technologist roles and modalities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality, including CT, for diagnosis, treatment, and quality control.
- Perform studies independently, in on-call situations, for portable exams, and at other sites as required by the work area.
