About The Position

CT Technologists at ProMedica provide high-quality diagnostic imaging to help providers make informed decisions regarding patient treatment and management. The role works with radiologists and other team members to deliver quality care and support patients. Using computerized tomography equipment, the technologist selects appropriate technical factors based on each patient’s age, size, weight, anatomy, and general health status. Under physician direction, the technologist administers and documents contrast, including IV contrast, and uses appropriate radiation protection and age-appropriate immobilizers to produce high-quality CT scans. The listed accountabilities describe the general nature and level of the work and are not exhaustive. This position is at Fostoria Community Hospital in the Radiology department, with 36 weekly hours on the night shift. It is full-time and qualifies for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Complete formal radiologic technology training at an AMA-approved school or a school accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
Be registered by the ARRT and CT registered. If CT registry eligible, pass the registry within one year of accepting the position. If performing in more than one modality and registry eligible, pass the registry within one year of accepting additional responsibilities.
Hold a state license if applicable.
Have current CPR.

Responsibilities
