About The Position

Performs diagnostic procedures using radiation detection and imaging equipment and provides quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborns to elderly patients, according to department standards. Completes established position competencies within the designated introductory period. Supports all facilities in the market as needed and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
• Two years of experience.
• Meet one of the stated CT certification, licensure, or training pathways: advanced-level ARRT or NMTCB certification in computed tomography; state licensure to perform diagnostic CT exams plus documented training in diagnostic CT; ARRT radiography registration and certification plus documented CT training and experience; or ARRT/NMTCB nuclear medicine technology certification plus documented training in diagnostic CT.
• AHA BLS certification.
• State license if required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality images safely and efficiently.
• Completes required exams and sends studies to the reading station for radiologist review.
• Completes all associated documentation.
• Provides care to patients of all age groups according to department standards.
• Supports all facilities in the market as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
