About The Position

This is a travel radiology tech CT tech position for a travel assignment in Brunswick, Georgia, United States. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/28/2026. Requirements

Proficiency in CT imaging and patient positioning for diagnostic studies.
Availability to work Fri–Sun, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (12-hour shifts).
Ability to work in a hospital setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Experience operating CT equipment; familiarity with Canon CT systems is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, patient communication, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
Prepare and position patients; adjust scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
Maintain strict radiation safety practices and verify patient and equipment safety prior to imaging.
Monitor patients during procedures, communicate clearly with radiologists, and document imaging results in the patient record.
Ensure proper image labeling, processing, and transmission to PACS for interpretation.
Maintain clean and organized work area; follow infection control and equipment troubleshooting procedures as needed.
