About The Position

This is a travel Interventional Radiology Tech assignment in Los Angeles, CA, for 13 weeks. The role involves performing and assisting with Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures. The tech will operate radiographic imaging equipment, position patients, and assist physicians with specialized procedures in the cardiovascular lab. Mentoring and training staff on technical skills and contributing to quality and safety processes are also part of the responsibilities. The assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Requirements

Active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice (California) – Required
CPR/BLS certification – Required
Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification – Required
PVMB/TEAM/CPI or equivalent crisis prevention/violent behavior management training – Required
Associate degree or equivalent
Minimum two years of recent field experience

Nice To Haves

ARRT certification – Preferred
Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology preferred
Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred

Responsibilities

Perform, assist with, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures as directed.
Operate radiographic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images and support physicians in interventional cardiovascular care.
Position and immobilize patients for examinations, provide clear instructions, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
Assist physicians with specialized interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab, using a range of sophisticated equipment.
Mentor and train staff on technical skills and contribute to routine quality and safety processes.
