About The Position

This is a travel Interventional Radiology Tech assignment in a home healthcare - hospice setting located in Los Angeles, California. The contract is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 10/05/2026. The role involves performing interventional radiology procedures and cardiac/vascular radiographic exams under physician supervision, operating fluoroscopy and imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position requires the ability to work 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements

Active radiologic technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (California) is required.
BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor: Required.
Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification: Required.
PVMB/TEAM or CPI or equivalent violence prevention training: Required.
At least two years of recent experience in the field.
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting and to perform 12-hour night shifts.

Nice To Haves

ARRT certification: Preferred.
Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures and cardiac/vascular radiographic exams under physician supervision.
Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images during cardiovascular procedures.
Position and immobilize patients, monitor during procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Assist physicians with specialized cardiovascular procedures, including catheterizations and other image-guided interventions.
Maintain equipment, document procedures, and adhere to sterile technique and radiation safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the care team, provide guidance to junior staff, and support quality and safety initiatives.
