About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced CT Tech/Xray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hot Springs, SD 57747. The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards as established by radiologist governing and professional bodies.

Requirements

  • Must have R.T.(R)(ARRT) credential
  • Must have at least 1 years of work experience
  • Demonstrates skills and behaviors indicative of an adequate working knowledge of and clinical proficiency in radiographic procedures, principles of radiation physics, and human anatomy and physiology.
  • Must be open to rotation of call and weekends
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience working as a CT technologist.

Responsibilities

  • Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images with fixed and portable X-ray.
  • Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images with CT Room.
  • Able to adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition.
  • Adjust patient positioning in order to acquire the best images based on anatomical structures. Adjust table and radiation beam to minimize radiation exposure to maximum patient protection (ALARA).
  • Process images in PACS for the Radiologist.
  • Complete exams per Radiologist protocols.
  • Document, charge, and process with electronic medical records.
  • Schedule patients for appointments in X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor.
  • Inform and assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams.
  • Involved with quality control concerning equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety.
  • Ensure that exams are completed in timely and correct manner.
  • Provide Customer Service to patients, and staff.
