About The Position

Knights Mechanical is seeking an experienced and motivated CSR / Service Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be a strong problem-solver, effective multitasker, and possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, along with a willingness to learn and adapt. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for our customers, utilizing your customer service expertise to build rapport, educate customers on available services and products, and ensure a positive customer experience. You will also be responsible for coordinating and dispatching technicians efficiently to meet customer needs and company objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs
  • Proficiency with computers and common office software applications
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Previous dispatching experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in the HVAC, plumbing, or home services industry highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain professionalism and provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously via phone and in person
  • Answer and manage a multiline phone system efficiently
  • Schedule and dispatch technicians according to service needs, customer requests, and established schedules
  • Coordinate technician schedules to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Relay work orders, job updates, and other critical information to field technicians
  • Communicate with supervisors, technicians, and customers to resolve service issues and scheduling conflicts
  • Utilize phone systems, text messaging, email, internet platforms, and business software effectively
  • Listen to customer concerns, update account information accurately, and provide timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with additional duties as needed
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities and schedules may change throughout the day
