About the position
Coinhako is seeking a highly skilled and experienced quant developer to join their trading desk. The role involves designing and developing proprietary trading system solutions, including exchange connectivity, data management, simulation engine development, pricing model, and platform development. The quant developer will work closely with traders and software engineers, assist in developing high-performing algo strategies, and be responsible for code quality. Additionally, they will coordinate project and development work for the trading team. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, proficiency in Python and C++ or Rust, and at least 3 years of experience in developing quantitative trading systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build proprietary system solutions working closely with traders and software engineers
- Assist the quants to develop high performing algo strategies and be accountable for the code quality that you deliver
- Assist scaling the Quant Research pipeline and monetization-related development
- Coordinate all project/development work for the trading team
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related fields
- Proficiency in Python and C++ or Rust
- 3+ years experience in developing quantitative trading systems/strategies with a proven track record of system design and platform development
- Strong understanding of multiple aspects of trading, including exchange connectivity, tick-level data management, simulation engine development, pricing model, and platform development
- Ability to design and build proprietary system solutions in collaboration with traders and software engineers
- Assist quants in developing high-performing algo strategies and ensuring code quality
- Assist in scaling the Quant Research pipeline and monetization-related development
- Coordinate project/development work for the trading team
