Senior Backend Engineer, Payment and Wallet

Coinhako is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Payments & Wallet team. The team focuses on onboarding new customers and ensuring smooth and reliable transactions on the platform. The role involves architecting and building scalable backend services using technologies such as Rails 7, Go, Sidekiq, Kafka, REST, AWS, and Docker. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in building scalable distributed systems, with a strong background in Ruby and familiarity with Go.

• Architect and build scalable backend services using Rails 7, Go, Sidekiq, Kafka, REST, AWS, and Docker
• Design and build high-volume APIs for frontends and external traders
• Ensure the long-term quality of the code and make decisions related to the architecture of production systems
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers during product development stages
• Write and improve unit and integration tests
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Have 5+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems with a strong background in Ruby and Go

• Ability to design and build high-volume APIs
