About The Position

Natomas Unified School District is recruiting a Cross Country Coach for the 2026–2027 school year. The coach will work with students and must be able to communicate with elementary- and middle-school-level students, teach skills and drills at the high school level, and work well with others. Coaching cannot begin until all certificates and required materials are completed and submitted. Candidates must meet the minimum requirements and complete a successful interview and reference check. Three references are required, including the candidate’s most recent supervisor. The application materials include a letter of introduction, three current letters of recommendation, and a resume listing all coaching experience. Requirements

At least 2 years of coaching or playing experience.
Organizational skills.
Ability to communicate with elementary- and middle-school-level students.
Ability to teach skills and drills at the high school level.
Ability to work well with others.
CPR/First Aid card.
Current TB test.
Fingerprinting is required by the district.
Successful interview and reference check.
Three references, including the most recent supervisor.
Submit a letter of introduction, three current letters of recommendation, and a resume listing all coaching experience.
Complete and submit all certificates and required materials before coaching begins.
