About The Position
Ednovate is hiring a Volleyball Coach to develop and implement a rigorous, high-quality athletic program. The coach will travel to and supervise team games, performances, and practices; ensure student safety; communicate with families and community members; and model Ednovate’s values and mission. Ednovate is a network of tuition-free public schools serving areas where students traditionally lack access to quality college-preparatory education.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success as a coach.
- Passion for increasing college attainment for historically underrepresented students.
- Commitment to promoting educational opportunity for all students and families.
- Ability to thrive in a workplace characterized by autonomy, flexibility, transparency, and accountability.
- Ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds, celebrate teammates, and engage in healthy debate and feedback.
- Resourcefulness, persistence, and a growth mindset, including a desire to continually develop coaching skills and improve results.
