2026-2027 Coach (Cheer)
About The Position
Ednovate is hiring a Coach (Cheer) to develop and implement a rigorous, high-quality athletic program. The coach will travel to and supervise team games, performances, and practices; ensure students’ safety during practices and performances; communicate openly with families and community members; and embody Ednovate’s values and mission. Ednovate operates tuition-free public schools focused on providing high-quality college-preparatory education in communities where students have traditionally had limited access. The organization seeks mission-driven, collaborative, resourceful professionals who are committed to educational opportunity and student success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success as a coach.
- Passion for increasing college attainment for historically underrepresented students.
- Commitment to promoting educational opportunity for all students and families.
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly in a workplace characterized by transparency and accountability.
- Collaborative approach, including working with people from diverse backgrounds and engaging in healthy debate and feedback.
- Resourcefulness, persistence, and a growth mindset.

- Bachelor’s degree.
