About The Position

Northern Ag, a division of Border Bank, is seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Crop Insurance Agent/Commodity Broker to join their team in Roseau, Minnesota. This role is ideal for an individual with an agricultural background who is interested in building client relationships, developing market expertise, and growing a rewarding career in crop insurance and commodity marketing.

Requirements

General knowledge of and experience in agriculture, insurance, sales, and/or marketing.

Responsibilities

Obtain a Minnesota insurance license by successfully passing the MN agent licensing exam and the Series 3 exam to become a licensed AP (broker) within the first 12 months of employment (all licensing fees paid by Northern Ag).
Building and managing a personal crop insurance client portfolio.
Supporting and servicing existing crop insurance customers.
Developing and expanding a commodity marketing client base.
Assisting current marketing clients with their risk management and marketing needs.
Preparing and distributing weekly analytical market assessments for clients.
Supporting local advertising and promotional campaigns.
Maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.
