About The Position

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled and motivated PRN CRNA to join their team in Fort Mill, SC. This role involves providing anesthesia for full arch dental implant procedures, focusing on patient safety and satisfaction. The CRNA will work autonomously in partnership with an Oral Surgeon, contributing to life-changing patient outcomes. The position offers a great work-life balance with no nights, weekends, call, or holidays, and operates on a 1099 contractor basis.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Current state licensure as an APRN
Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance
Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
Recent experience providing general anesthesia
Proficient in nasal intubations
Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center

Nice To Haves

Experience with dental anesthesia
Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting
Willing to train the right candidate for nasal intubations

Responsibilities

Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
