About The Position
Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center in Suffolk, VA is hiring CRNAs to join their team, offering a great work/life balance within a respected hospital system. The role involves providing anesthesia services for various case assignments including Ortho, General, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Vascular, and GYN. Shifts are structured as 3 weeks on, 1 week off, consisting of 4x10 hour shifts with hourly pay prior to overtime at 42.5 hours. Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
