About The Position

Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center in Suffolk, VA is opening its doors to hire CRNAs to join the team, offering a great work/life balance and providing anesthesia services within a known and respected hospital system. The facility is seeking a Chief CRNA to build a new team of CRNAs. Case assignments include Ortho, General, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Vascular, and GYN. Shifts are structured as 3 weeks on and 1 week off, consisting of 4x10 hour shifts with an hourly rate prior to overtime at 42.5 hours. Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
