About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Yakima, WA. This is an inpatient role supporting supplemental coverage for an ongoing need. The CRNA will provide clinical coverage, working 12-hour shifts, including 3-5 night shifts per week. The role involves a diverse case mix including ENT, General Surgery, GI Endoscopy, GYN, Podiatry, OB, Orthopedics, Pediatric, Robotic procedures, Urology, and vascular cases. Specific experience is required in Cardiac, Complete Ortho, OB, Pediatric, Regional, and Thoracic procedures. Required procedures include General Anesthesia (Adult, Pediatric & Trauma), Spinal & Epidural Anesthesia, and Obstetrical Cases. The facility is a Level III Trauma center utilizing Epic EMR. CRNAs work under medical supervision and support multiple operating rooms across the main surgery department and an adjacent Surgi-Center, as well as GI treatment rooms, a Bronchoscopy room, and a Cath lab. Temporary privileges are available, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements

• Active WA License or compact license
• BC/BE
• BLS (Red Cross/AHA)
• ACLS (Red Cross/AHA)

Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients.
• Administer spinal and epidural anesthesia.
• Manage obstetrical cases.
• Support 7 ORs in the main surgery department.
• Support 4 ORs at the adjacent Surgi-Center.
• Cover 2 GI treatment rooms.
• Cover 1 Bronchoscopy room.
• Cover 1 Cath lab.
• Work in a medically supervised ACT model.
