About The Position
Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Per Diem 1099 position at MyMichigan Medical Center Towne Centre in Saginaw, MI. This role offers a competitive compensation of $170/hour and involves a diverse case mix in a multi-specialty outpatient surgery center. The practice environment includes 4 ORs and 2-3 Endo Rooms, with a significant number of GI/Endo and Surgical cases annually. Shift types are 8-hour shifts, and the EMR system used is SIS Complete.
Requirements
- Active MI license
- NBCRNA Certification
- ALS/BLS Certifications
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a multi-specialty outpatient surgery center
- Familiarity with GI/Endo and various surgical case types (General, Ortho, Uro, Plastics, etc.)
- Experience with SIS Complete EMR system
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and related care for all patients.
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and document findings.
- Monitor patients' physiological status during anesthesia.
- Manage and maintain airway, breathing, and circulation.
- Administer and manage anesthetic agents, adjunct drugs, and fluids.
- Respond to and manage emergency situations.
- Document all aspects of anesthesia care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
