About The Position
Cedars-Sinai is expanding its anesthesia services and seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a team of more than 150 members providing care in a variety of clinical settings. The role works within a collaborative care-team model and may include opportunities for teaching and mentorship. In accordance with delineated clinical privileges, the CRNA provides safe anesthesia care, including pre-operative assessment and evaluation, collaboration on the development and implementation of anesthesia care plans, and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
Requirements
- California registered nurse license and CRNA license.
- Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- One year of experience as a CRNA.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Doctorate degree in Nurse Anesthesia Practice preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operative assessment and evaluation of patients.
- Participate in and collaborate on the development and implementation of the anesthesia care plan.
- Provide post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
