About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Daytona Beach is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate, excellent treatment and support patients through vulnerable and difficult stages of recovery. The hospital provides a thorough RN orientation, career development opportunities, and resources supporting employees’ professional growth and personal well-being. The position is located in Daytona Beach, Florida, and works 12-hour day or night shifts. Compensation is $35.67–$50.00, based on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
