About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Daytona Beach is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The Critical Care Registered Nurse provides compassionate care to patients during their recovery and supports patients and their families throughout treatment. The role is based in Daytona Beach, Florida, and follows 12-hour day or night shifts. Compensation is $35.67–$50.00, based on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
