About The Position

This is a contract, on-site position offering an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide essential critical care services within a dynamic and fast-paced medical environment. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes. The position requires a commitment to clinical excellence, rapid decision-making, and compassionate patient management in intensive and critical care settings.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Associate-level experience in critical care or intensive care settings
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and clinical documentation
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous improvement
• CSR and DEA required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care management for acutely ill patients
• Perform detailed patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
• Manage ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and advanced monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and allied health professionals
• Participate in rapid response and code blue teams as needed
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Stay current with advances in critical care medicine and best practices
