Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine or a related subspecialty.
Active medical license in the relevant jurisdiction, or the ability to obtain one prior to start.
Associate-level experience in critical care, intensive care, or acute care environments.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site clinical setting.
Willingness to commit to a contract-based schedule and adapt to changing clinical needs.
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Must be board-certified
DEA and ACLS certifications

Nice To Haves

Common critical care procedures including airway management, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertion

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive critical care management to patients in acute and intensive care settings.
Perform thorough patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as clinically appropriate.
Administer medications, therapies, and life-saving interventions in accordance with protocols.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient medical records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Adhere to medical standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Work on-site as scheduled per contract terms and support continuity of care for critically ill patients.
