Critical Care Paramedic - Ground Transport Team

Orlando HealthOrlando, FL
Onsite

About The Position

The Critical Care Ground Transport Team provides swift and seamless transportation of patients between Orlando Health facilities. This team, under the Orlando Health Air Care Team umbrella, was formed in partnership with Air Methods. Building on 40 years of flight service experience, the Critical Care Ground Transport team aims to deliver the same high quality of care to Orlando Health patients and the community. As Orlando Health facilities and the surrounding areas grow, there is an increasing need for efficient, safe, and urgent patient transfers, especially for those who are sick or critically ill. This team ensures that the sickest patients can be transported from any location to where they need to be, precisely when they need to be there, while maintaining seamless care throughout the process. Clinical providers in the ambulances offer the same level of critical care as flight nurses, providing the highest standard of critical care transport available in Florida. This initiative is another demonstration of Orlando Health's commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
