Minimum Pay Rate: $24/hr. Pay will commensurate with experience Schedule: Rotating 12-Hour Shifts with Weekend, Holiday, & On-Call Requirement Location: ALS paramedics will spend some time at the Nationwide Children's Main Campus on South 18th street in Columbus and some time at the Lewis Center ED on Pacer Drive in Delaware. FTE 0.6-0.9. Typical Hours are 10a-10p (Main Hospital) and 1p-1a (Lewis Center ED). Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Job Description Summary: Provides direct patient care and assistance using Family Centered Care principals. Provides stabilization and emergency care of the acutely ill infant, child, adolescent, or adult by ALS level of ground transport. On call hours required.
