Housing Forward•Dallas, TX
•$53,000 - $72,000•Hybrid

About The Position

The Crisis Response Coordinator coordinates the day-to-day response to unsheltered homelessness within an assigned geographic zone. The role maintains a comprehensive understanding of priority encampments, people experiencing unsheltered homelessness, outreach activity, and active rehousing efforts. It serves as the central point of coordination among outreach teams, housing and shelter providers, municipalities, public safety, behavioral health, and other partners to help people move toward shelter and permanent housing and support sustainable encampment resolution. The position requires an organized, relationship-focused, solutions-oriented person who can manage competing priorities, coordinate work across organizations, and foster accountability through strong relationships and consistent follow-through. The Coordinator works independently in field-based settings, addresses barriers proactively, and identifies when additional support or leadership intervention is needed. The posting lists the Director of Crisis Response as the reporting contact in its header, but the position summary and duties identify the Manager of Crisis Response as the role's reporting manager. Housing Forward is the backbone organization for the All Neighbors Coalition, which aligns more than 150 public, private, and nonprofit partners to coordinate homelessness response across Dallas and Collin Counties. The organization reports more than 45 employees and focuses on system strategy, performance management, and cross-sector collaboration.
