Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Crisis Therapist for our brand new Crisis Receiving Center with 24 chairs in Chesterfield VA. The Crisis Therapist is responsible for managing the care of individuals experiencing behavioral health crises, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to the individual’s immediate needs. This role collaborates closely with psychiatric providers and the multidisciplinary team, gathering collateral information, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions, and providing a full range of social work services, including discharge planning. The Crisis Therapist also maintains a clinical caseload and ensures all documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards.
