About The Position

Intervention, Inc. is a Colorado nonprofit that provides services within the criminal justice system, including sobriety monitoring, electronic monitoring, probation supervision, and community corrections. This entry-level role guides clients toward pro-social behavior while helping protect staff, clients, and the community by monitoring and enforcing facility policies, rules, and regulations. The position supports residential, nonresidential, and outpatient services. No previous experience is required, although the listed minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of customer service and/or security experience. The role is located in Henderson and is full-time on the day shift. Because it involves directly observing male clients submitting urinalysis specimens, the employer identifies being male as a bona fide occupational qualification and will consider only male applicants. Pay is $19.10–$21.96 per hour, depending on shift differential. The specialist orients clients to facility rules, monitors conduct and compliance, conducts facility rounds and searches, responds to emergencies, documents incidents, and communicates relevant information to staff. The role also includes monitoring client movements, testing, medication, visitors, meals, chores, and counts; handling deposits and property; transporting clients in a company van; and completing required reports and paperwork. Regular and predictable attendance is expected, with flexibility for schedule or shift changes.
