Benton County is seeking a Crime Victim Advocate to provide services to crime victims by assisting them as they exercise their rights and utilize available services. This role involves navigating adult criminal and juvenile justice court proceedings, offering trauma-informed services and support to crime victims, and acting as a liaison between victims, prosecutors, law enforcement, and community resources. The position also includes reviewing and evaluating cases to ensure victims have meaningful access to their legal rights, preparing correspondence and documentation, and participating in interagency activities. This position works under close to moderate supervision.
