This is a Term Limited Temporary position, anticipated to last 12 months. The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is seeking a motivated individual to serve as a Domestic Violence & Violent Crime Victim Advocate. This role involves providing comprehensive advocacy services to victims of crime, ensuring they are informed, supported, and engaged throughout the criminal justice process. Advocates will be cross-trained in both domestic violence and violent crime victim advocacy to offer flexibility in deploying support and resources based on evolving caseloads. The advocate will act as a crucial link between victims, prosecutors, and community resources, ensuring survivors' rights, safety concerns, and voices are heard and upheld. Responsibilities include documenting victim interactions, entering data for coverage and performance review, identifying opportunities and challenges, and implementing efficiencies.
