About The Position

AMC Crew members help create a welcoming and memorable movie-going experience by rotating among guest service, concessions, ticketing, cleaning, and register duties. Team members are cross-trained to build skills and support theatre operations. This is a temporary, seasonal position supporting peak business demands. Continued employment after the seasonal period may be available based on business needs and position availability, but is not guaranteed. The role requires evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability. Crew members work in a fast-paced theatre environment and must follow AMC policies, procedures, safety practices, and wardrobe standards. Required physical activities include frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds for up to 90 feet, or depositing it into a dumpster or trash compactor. Duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Must be at least 14 years of age.
No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Must be willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.
Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoyment of interacting with people.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in movies and passion for creating a positive guest experience.
Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet, or deposit it into a dumpster or trash compactor, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and create memorable moments by listening actively and communicating clearly.
Use AMC’s point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Use suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising techniques to support the guest experience and loyalty card sign-ups.
Prepare food items safely and efficiently.
Keep theatres, lobbies, and restrooms clean and welcoming.
Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
Check tickets and direct guests to their auditoriums.
Help enforce the movie rating system respectfully and clearly.
Monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, lighting, audience behavior, and potential piracy.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Support fellow crew members as needed.
Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
Follow AMC wardrobe standards, including black non-slip shoes, black pants, an AMC-provided shirt where applicable, and items required by local regulations.
Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
