About The Position

AMC Crew members help create a welcoming, memorable guest experience by rotating through theatre roles, including greeting guests, selling concessions, checking tickets, operating the register, and keeping the theatre clean. Crew members are cross-trained to develop skills and support different areas of theatre operations. This is a temporary, seasonal position intended to support peak business demands. Continued employment after the seasonal period may be available depending on business needs and position availability, but is not guaranteed. The role requires evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability. Crew members work in a fast-paced environment and are expected to provide friendly service, follow company policies and procedures, and help maintain an inclusive atmosphere. The position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds for up to 90 feet or depositing it into a dumpster or trash compactor.

Requirements

Must be at least 14 years of age.
No prior experience is necessary.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Must be reliable and arrive on time.
Must be willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.
Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoyment of working with people.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in movies and passion for creating a positive guest experience.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend frequently.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet, or deposit it into a dumpster or trash compactor.
Must adhere to AMC wardrobe standards.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and create memorable experiences by listening actively and communicating clearly.
Use AMC’s POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Use suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising to enhance the guest experience and encourage loyalty card sign-ups.
Prepare food items safely and efficiently.
Keep theatres, lobbies, and restrooms clean and welcoming.
Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
Check tickets and direct guests to their auditoriums.
Help enforce the movie rating system respectfully and clearly.
Monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, lighting, audience behavior, and potential piracy.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Support fellow crew members as needed.
Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
Follow AMC wardrobe standards, including black non-slip shoes, black pants, an AMC-provided shirt where applicable, and items required by local regulations.
Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
