About The Position
The AMC Crew Leader guides the theatre crew through daily operations, models company values, and supports a guest-first culture. The role involves assigning crew roles and breaks, reinforcing wardrobe standards, promoting AMC Stubs memberships and products, and helping ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational protocols. Crew Leaders assist guests, support cash and inventory processes, complete opening, closing, and cleanup assignments, and help with ticketing, marketing updates, maintenance, crew functions, and eligible projection operations. They help create an inclusive, welcoming environment and maintain a professional, positive demeanor while following company policies and procedures. The position is in a fast-paced theatre environment and requires evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability. Requirements include frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet or deposit it into a dumpster or trash compactor.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong guest service, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate competency in all crew positions.

Responsibilities
- Guide and support crew members by assigning roles and breaks and reinforcing wardrobe standards.
- Promote AMC Stubs memberships and products and ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational protocols are followed.
- Assist guests with questions, concerns, refunds, and pass distribution while providing a friendly, quick, and clean experience.
- Complete follow-up on opening, closing, and cleanup assignments.
- Monitor line checks and hot food and back-bar assembly; ensure areas are stocked and clean.
- Follow instructions for safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
- Assist with cash management, including distributing banks, processing change requests, supporting timely cash drops, and restocking kiosks.
- Assist with inventory processes, including organizing the stock room, distributing items to displays, and securing inventory during closing.
- Support ticketing, marketing updates, maintenance needs, crew functions, and projection operations for eligible team members who meet the minimum age requirement.
- Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
- Adhere to AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards and all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
