About The Position

Pacific NW Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, full-service financial institution with branches in Portland, Vancouver, and Hood River. Our mission is simple: be our members' financial partner for life. We give back through financial literacy programs and community education. As a smaller credit union, we're able to personalize the member experience, and that's why many of our members have been with us for generations. As a Teller, you'll be the face of the Credit Union, welcoming members, processing financial transactions, and assisting with everyday banking needs. You'll provide friendly, accurate service while identifying opportunities to educate members about products and services that support their financial goals. This position is based at our Portland branch.

Requirements

6 months to 2 years of experience in banking, cash handling, retail, or customer service
Strong attention to detail with basic math and computer skills
Friendly, professional communication and a member-service mindset
Reliability, accuracy, and the ability to follow established procedures
A positive, team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

Welcome members and process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions
Provide accurate information about Credit Union products and services
Balance your cash drawer and transactions daily
Identify opportunities to refer or cross-sell products as appropriate
Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate documentation
