About The Position

At Bank of America, the Credit Services Consultant manages a highly complex client portfolio, including collateral monitoring and cash movement. The role handles complex collateral and transactional posting that involve client, regulatory, and reputational risk, and resolves or escalates servicing questions by coordinating across functional areas to support an integrated approach to loan servicing. Within Global Credit Operations (GCO), which fulfills, services, and protects credit offerings for business banking, Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM), commercial and corporate clients, and leasing and trade products, the consultant manages domestic and complex multi-currency portfolios, including direct, agented, and bought participation structures. The role also contributes subject matter expertise, participates in key assignments, and provides coaching and direction to less-experienced employees.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of commercial credit operations knowledge.
Proven experience navigating bilateral commercial deal structures.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to read and interpret legal documents.
Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma, GED, Secondary School, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Post collateral information to the system of record.
Balance collateral between the system of record and the borrowing base.
Monitor daily cash movement to and from client loan accounts.
Set up fixed-rate client loan requests.
Handle a highly complex client portfolio involving direct, agented, and bought participation structures, including domestic and complex multi-currency components.
Provide coaching and direction to less-experienced employees.
Resolve or escalate servicing questions, leveraging resources across functional areas.
