About The Position
A leading global financial institution is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Credit Risk Associate to join its Corporate Banking team in New York.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking credit, corporate finance, financial analysis, M&A, consulting or related fields
- Strong analytical and financial statement analysis skills
- Japanese and English bilingual
- Advanced Excel skills
Nice To Haves
- CFA or MBA is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform credit analysis and underwriting for Japanese corporate clients
- Prepare credit applications and risk recommendations
- Conduct financial statement analysis and industry research
- Monitor loan portfolio quality and covenant compliance
- Work closely with Relationship Managers and product partners on new transactions
