CREDIT REPRESENTATIVE Lvl 1
About The Position
Professional is hiring Credit Representatives to provide customer service and accounts receivable management support through phone, live chat, email, and text. The role involves helping consumers navigate challenging financial situations and resolve debt concerns. The company provides training in its systems, customer service practices, and negotiation techniques. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Initial training takes place onsite at the Springfield, Oregon office, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After training, start times vary, and employees participate in a half-day Saturday rotation once a month. Compensation is $17.00–$20.50 per hour, depending on experience, plus commission.
Requirements
- Experience in collections is sought.
- General computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple screens.
- Ability to type 25 words per minute.
- Good decision-making skills.
- Genuine interest in providing customer service and assisting others.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with consumers by phone, live chat, email, and text using omni-channel communication technology.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and courteously.
- Navigate customer relationship management (CRM) software and multiple screens.
- Negotiate payment agreements and resolve customer concerns.
- Help consumers work toward getting out of debt.
