Requirements

  • 1–3 years in accounts receivable, credit, or collections
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple accounts
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional phone presence and strong interpersonal skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Reliable follow‑up and task management
  • Solid math skills for balances and credit calculations
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in challenging conversations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Contact customers with professionalism and courtesy to resolve outstanding balances
  • Maintain accurate records of payments, statuses, and communication history
  • Monitor commitments and ensure timely follow‑through
  • Process applications and request additional information when needed
  • Confirm references through outreach or reporting tools
  • Evaluate payment behavior and recommend adjustments
  • Flag higher‑risk accounts for management review
  • Review AR and cash reports to identify trends
  • Partner with collections and customer service teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships through clear communication
  • Use Microsoft Office and internal tools to manage accounts and documentation
