Requirements
- 1–3 years in accounts receivable, credit, or collections
- Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple accounts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional phone presence and strong interpersonal skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Reliable follow‑up and task management
- Solid math skills for balances and credit calculations
- Ability to stay calm and professional in challenging conversations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Contact customers with professionalism and courtesy to resolve outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate records of payments, statuses, and communication history
- Monitor commitments and ensure timely follow‑through
- Process applications and request additional information when needed
- Confirm references through outreach or reporting tools
- Evaluate payment behavior and recommend adjustments
- Flag higher‑risk accounts for management review
- Review AR and cash reports to identify trends
- Partner with collections and customer service teams to resolve issues
- Maintain strong, professional relationships through clear communication
- Use Microsoft Office and internal tools to manage accounts and documentation
