Credit Analyst- ONSITE
About The Position
Community First Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to support informed lending decisions and the financial success of businesses and agricultural operations in its communities. This role analyzes financial information, identifies trends and risks, and prepares credit presentations and recommendations. The analyst will gain exposure to commercial and agricultural lending, specialized lending programs, and complex credit relationships while working with experienced lenders and credit professionals. Banking or credit analysis experience is not required; the bank will help develop the successful candidate’s banking knowledge and credit analysis skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, agricultural business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with others.
- Desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to evaluate lending opportunities.
- Identify financial trends and assess risks, translating complex information into meaningful insights.
- Prepare credit presentations and recommendations to support sound lending decisions.
- Gain exposure to commercial and agricultural lending, specialized lending programs, and complex credit relationships.
- Work with lenders and credit professionals to monitor loan portfolios and evaluate borrower performance.
